A JEWISH FAMILY EDUCATION PROJECT Celebrating The Tastes, Aromas, Art & Music Of Our Heritage
Dear TOW Members,

We are VERY excited about a new TOW contest…

It has long been the vision and goal of our organization’s founder, Claude Bernstein, to create an online “RECIPE BOOK” of basic “haimish” Jewish program ideas and resources to be shared through the TOW network. Our national office has begun to format and post recipe ideas and their required resources. To jump start this process, we offer this challenge to you the licensees—For every POSTABLE recipe you send in (from now until December 31st 2005... while supplies last) we will send you 5 Traditions on Wheels® “wheels” for use in your institutions AND… we will enter your name in a sweepstakes for a free trip to Israel. The educator who sends in the most posted recipes (by 12/31/05) will receive TWO FREE round trip tickets to Israel.

Please e-mail your feedback and constructive criticism at your earliest convenience.

Guidelines for submitting TOW recipes

Each recipe must include:

...... 1.  Title of activity:

...... 2.  Goal:

...... 3.  Suggested age range:

...... 4.  Suggested time required:

...... 5.  Materials required:

...... 6.  Step by step instructions…..

...... 7.  A sample (or a picture) of the product should be included. If you are suggesting sukkah decorations, send a sample... If you are suggesting a Tu B’Shvat Seder, include a sample hagadah.

The website will clearly credit the author(s)/designers of each recipe (or resource portion)—In keeping with the rabbinic sensibility that “sharing statements with proper attribution brings redemption to the world.”

Here’s to moving onward and upward and to increasing exemplary Jewish programming!
